Swim (750 m, 1 lap)
Start at the Strandbad Mythenquai, Zürich-Wollishofen. The swimmer hands the timing chip to the cyclist in the handover zone.
Bike (25 km, 2 laps, hilly)
After having received the timing chip, the cyclist runs from the handover zone into the transition area, and picks up his bike. Bikes are to be pushed only (not ridden) within the transition area. Get on the bikes is only allowed in the indicated zone at the exit of transition. The bike course is mostly flat with one testing climb called “Heartbreak Hill”. Roads are well secured but be alert for unexpected road traffic. There are two laps to complete. After completing the course, the cyclist shall rack their bike in the transition area, run to the handover zone, and hand the timing chip to the runner waiting in the handover zone.
Run (7 km, 1 lap, flat)
The runner starts from the handover zone. The run course is a one lap course with an extra loop and leads you through the beautiful parks of the city and along the lake. At the finish line is a waiting zone for the team members, so that all three team members can cross the finish line together.
